Precision is key for bocce ball. It’s a different take on shuffleboard. Get the balls as close as possible for the maximum amount of points. The more people, the more fun. Winning at bocce ball is easier said than done so bragging rights come at a premium.

Our Bowling Center offers all of the amenities of a public bowling alley, consisting of six regulation lanes and a full service menu and bar, while upholding all of the comforts of a private club. Our Adult Sailing Director, Joe Klaasen, invites you and your family to learn sailing on our J/22s. Joe will ensure comfort, skill, and fun are a priority on the water.

If you’re into swimming, competitively or learning, GPYC has both in plenty supply. Those looking for competition are encouraged to join our swim team, the Sailfish.
Get in shape and perfect your form in our pool. Relax with our instructors to feel recharged and ready for the days ahead. Water aerobics is a great alternative to traditional exercise. The only thing you need is yourself to get to the peak of wellness within the water.
If you’re a golfer, GPYC members enjoy special privileges at local golf clubs. Enjoy waived initiation fees for partnered clubs and get swinging!
The Pointe Club builds camaraderie through special events and programs that bring members together. Adult GPYC members are Pointe Clubbers by default so get out there and meet your comrades. There are a wide variety of Club events to participate in, opportunities for business networking and great social events where you will meet new and exciting people. This group meets on a monthly basis to discuss upcoming events and activities and welcomes any members who would like to take part. Pointe Club members have participated in many charitable events over the past years including March of Dimes and Ronald McDonald House Detroit.
Sometimes you just need a break. Come drop your children off at the Kids’ Klub and enjoy an adult night out. The Klub stays open from 5:30pm to 10pm, every Friday and Saturday, offering plenty of fun from movies to pizza parties by the pool. Children must be at least 3 years of age and potty-trained, staying within the supervision of the Klub’s instructors.
It’s all in the cards when it comes to euchre at GPYC. Do what you can to best your family and friends. This take on card games can be tricky to get into, but once you get the hang of it, everything’s a breeze.

Looking to expand your horizons when it comes to wine? We’ve got plenty of wine tasting events and we’re more than happy to give you a tour of our cellar. Dive into delicable discussion of grape varieties, specific vineyards, California vs. France, wine and cheese pairings, and a pairing of international foods and wines.
It may seem similar to traditional tennis, but it couldn’t be more different. Paddle Tennis been around for hundreds of years and you’ll still need to have a good swing. Get in the game with family and friends so the fun never ends.

The Marine Activity Center (MAC) not only hosts marine activities throughout the boating season, the MAC also serves as a warming house for the trap shooting enthusiasts in the winter months. Members will take a break and enjoy the camaraderie over a beer and a warm bowl of soup.
