All Club members are invited to help us wrap-up the boating season with the last rendezvous of the year at William Milliken Park Marina. Located just a short boat trip down the Detroit river or a quick car ride down Jefferson, this easy to get to weekend destination has something for everyone. The marina is walking distance to the Dequindre Cut Trail and to Eastern Market, and for any families with children, you are just steps away from the Outdoor Adventure Center.
Highlights for the weekend include...
Friday: Catered BBQ dinner by our own member/chef Bobby Nahra of Lakeland Manor
Saturday: Cocktail party and shuttle to Comerica Park. Tiger Game in the evening.

Run for a ReasonRun for a Reason

The Grosse Pointe Yacht Club has joined together with The GUILD and the Fontbonne Auxiliary of St. John Hospital and Medical Center to host Run for a Reason 5k Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Walk. The proceeds from are dedicated to the Magnet Status for Nursing at St. John Hospital & Medical Center. To register for the run please visit: stjohnguild.org.
