31st Annual Great Lakes Boating Festival

Free and Open to the Public

The Grosse Pointe Yacht Club is proud to host its 31st Annual Great Lakes Boating Festival. With an unsurpassed reputation in Detroit's yachting community, the GPYC is known as the place to be for southeastern Michigan boaters. This makes it the perfect venue for exhibitors to showcase the latest yachts on the market along with marine products and services. Open to the public, the Boating Festival will feature a wide range of activities — including an antique car display, Dossin Museum display, Edsel & Eleanor Ford House display, vintage boats display, stadium sailing, jet skis and water toys. We look forward to seeing you in May 2019.

Lil' Chefs Cooking Class with Chef Colby

Date and Time: Saturday, April 27 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Children and adults alike will love this interactive tutorial followed by lunch, serving up your own creations! Come on down to the Fo'c'sle, don your apron and get ready to create! $10 per student includes pop and lemonade with a healthy handcrafted lunch. The Spinnaker will also be ready for carry out orders and cocktails by subscription.

Bay Harbor Rendezvous: August 3-5

Rooms at Bay Harbor Village Hotel are still available at 2018 rates. Call Katelynn by May 5, 2019 at (231) 439-2427 and state that you are with the GPYC Rendezvous. The hotel is family friendly (kids’ meal options), and guests are welcome. Our Tin Can Raffle will include high end items, and a few other surprises are in store.

Milliken Rendezvous: September 13-15

Plans are already in the works for the popular Milliken Rendezvous in downtown Detroit. Dock your boat or just drive down and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow GPYC members. Weekend plans include a BBQ dinner, cocktail party and a Saturday group event. If you are interested in attending and need a boat slip, please call the Front Desk with your boat name, length and beam. Commitments are needed by May 24.
